Christmas Spirit
Sometimes I seem busy doing my own things and slipping away from my friends, but I often think of them. I believe that our friendships are always dwelling in our hearts. No matter how little we have kept in touch through the year, every time around Christmas we meet and feel the warmth all over again. Maybe it’s Christmas spirit or maybe it’s the miracle of friendship.
Time really flies because I didn’t realize that I haven’t worked in the laboratory for already almost four years. Every year around Christmas time I meet up with my friends who worked with me in Hematology Dept. except for last year. I remember that this friend was pregnant with her first child when I left the laboratory, now her son is 4 years old, and daughter is 14 months old. I also met up with this friend who worked with me in Forensic Toxicology Dept. and now she is a grandma and works in Hematology Dept. with the friendly crowd. A new friend, working in Flow Cytometry Dept. where I also once worked, invited my husband and me to his church for Christmas Musical. We went and had lots of fun and good food and met up with my other friends from Flow Dept. It was a wonderful surprise.
Praise God and the Lord for providing me much love through family and friends even though sometime I feel that I don’t deserve it. I am thankful for that.
