Fri Jan23 Opening of the year
Just like the eve, we are having the feast ceremony, giving thanks to the heaven and earth and honoring our ancestors, suppose after that, we are free to do our own things.
Three out of four children join us for the celebration because the younger son has a lot to do at school before taking off to the National Guard duty next whole week. Since my younger daughter is planning the cookies-exchanged event scheduled on Sunday, the children are discussing who is making what and trying to make shopping list and such. We have a lot fun watching them. My mother-in-law is satisfied and happy to see most of her grandchildren three days in a row. Happy Opening of the Year!!!
