Fun evening weighing in our heads
After dinner, my younger daughter mentioned about someone said about the average weight of human head and she thought it's very disproportional for baby's head to weigh eight pounds. Then I puzzled, how could anyone weigh his or her heads. My older daughter said, "Decapitate them first." My younger daughter thought of a better idea and we can do this experiment together, weighing our heads. She convinced me that all I had to do was lying with my head on a scale without holding my head up or pushing down with my neck, it should give me a reasonably good estimate as to the weight of my head. Let the experiment begin. I weighed mine first: read 10lbs. on the scale. My younger daughter's head read 12lbs. We also convince my husband to participate. His reading was 10lbs. Finally, my older daughter also weighed in hers: read 12lbs. Our conclusion was both daughters' heads read 2lbs more than mine and my husband's: they have more brain cells than we have therefore they weigh more. We laughed and laughed and laughed and had much fun!
Thank you, daughters, for your visit and bring us a fun evening!
