Why Free will if Predetermined life
Challenged question of the day from daughters: Do people have free will or our lives have already been predetermined by God?
My immediate response is yes, we all have free will and grace on earth given by God. For eternal lives, God predetermines them. Life is serial decisions. We learn by doing which requires choices. Whatever choices we make, we will grow. It seems to me that we always have choices, good ones or bad ones, we will learn and grow from them. I come to realize that God is very faithful to us and has provided us many opportunities to gain our life experiences, which help us to extend our growth forever more.
