This afternoon my husband and I visited the Armory at Winchester for attending a FRG meeting; it's quite informative. Over forty people attended the meeting while the kids were playing with babysitters in the gym.

Christmas boxes for the deployed soldiers: no later than Nov. 25
Christmas Party: Dec. 4 at 1pm at Winchester
Red Cross blood drive: Dec. 24 all day at Winchester
Volunteer shoppers to buy gifts for the children who will attend the party
New secretary for FRG
Saving Deposit Program and Thrift Saving Plan for the deployed soldiers

After the meeting, there was Mary Kay people out there pampering the ladies, and Papa John people serving pizzas and drinks and Dairy Queen providing ice-cream cakes for everyone. We got to meet some new friends and watch the little ones playing in the moon bouncer and it’s a pleasure to see how the older kids caring for the young.
We are thankful for all the people who involved and worked very hard to make this event so successful that we can enjoy.

When we got home, we found our trashcan full of chopped leaves. Thanks to our neighbor once again, who brought more goodies for our garden beds!
