A visit to my big brother and family in NY
We stopped by NJ dropping off a big fuzzy melon and some melon rice cake at my husband's sister's house, said hi to my mother-in-law, and off we went to Brooklyn Chinatown have my younger daughter's car tuned-up. We picked up a soup clay pot for a couple in our bible study and did some grocery shopping.
When we got to my big brother's house, only his wife and grandson were home. My grandnephew had so much fun watching me directing my husband to park into this tight space in the back yard that he also waved his hand as if he’s directing as well.
We had a good dinnertime chatting with everyone and got to see my nephew and niece and her husband. They finished renovating a room for my grandnephew/ a guest room that we enjoyed very much. The top part of the wall was painted sky blue and the bottom part was painted baby green. There was a border with jungle theme set between the blue and the green, and even the dresser was painted blue; the light switch plate was also jungle theme; the bed is white with stuff animals sleeping in it; everything is very color coordinated. The flooring was redone with purgo-simulated wood. We felt relax and peaceful walking in the room. Many hands had helped throughout the projects. Thanks to everyone for the job well done so that we could enjoy it!
