It was in the 20s degree F this morning. I was walking, and then I started to jog a little, the wind's sharp but I felt good and did my usual stretch after running a little bit. Husband's brave coming out and walking with me even cold and windy.
We bake more carrot/banana/raisin bread today. Lately, it's one of our daily rituals.
After lunch as we talking, the doorbell rang. When I got to the door, the package's in the front door step. It's from my younger son in Afghanistan. I jumped up with joy. We wonder what it is. We are good though, and we decide that we won't open it until tomorrow. Thanks to our son for bringing us such excitement and joy of the day. May you be filled with blessings and joy each and everyday.
God's kingdom is within our heart. Seek it, and we will find it.
“Be always joyful. Be constant in prayer. In every circumstance give thanks. This is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–17.)
“Do not quench the Spirit.” (1 Thessalonians 5:19.)
“Test everything and keep what is good.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21.)
The Spirit makes all things new. (See Psalm 104:30.)
We are those who grow old, and we want everyone made to our aged pattern. The Spirit is never old; the Spirit is always young.
