It's really a rug in the box and Merry Christmas to you all!!
My husband has been telling me it's a rug. Of course, says on the box, but I said how can the big rug fit in this one cubic foot box. Daughters helped to open the box this morning. It's a beautiful silk-like rug nicely folded and snuggly tucked in the box. Thank you, son in Afghanistan, Merry Christmas to you and your army platoon family out there!!
I have received some books to read, some exercise CDs to do Pilate and Yoga exercise with, photo papers to print favorite pictures, and lots of fruits to share eating. Thank you all for being so thoughtful. Your presences have already been huge gifts for me. Thank you all for coming.
We started early today, smoothie, potstickers and soup for the early birds. Daughter's friend had to leave early to his family. Son's friend got in ontime for lunch. For lunch, we had spareribs, pineapple chicken, tasty meatballs, mashed potato with special gravy, fancy-cut carrot, golden and white corn, green peas and of course rice (brown rice). There are many desserts from friends and family: apple pie, Greek cookies, almond flavor Christmas cookies, lemon squares, and Schwan’s vanilla ice cream. They all are so good and delicious.
After lunch, brother and sister called us for the christmas greeting, nephews chatted with me on the phone, and then we read son's blog from Afghanistan, we chatted and looked at some old photo which had brought back many memories. We had lots of fun.

“A Savior is born to you.” And let us listen in chorus to that great news, sung throughout the universe: “Glory to God in the heavens, and on earth peace to those whom God loves.” (Luke 2:11, 14.)
