I phoned my husband early in the morning.
I was supposed to take a friend in Arlington to a doctor at 8:15 am. I didn't want stuck in traffic, so I arrived there early around seven. However, when we came down from her apartment, the keyless wouldn't work and the car wouldn't turn on. Oh, no, I forgot to turn off the headlight because when I checked the headlight switch, it was on. Now the battery was dead. I felt awful because my friend ended up taking her car from garage and driving herself and me to the doctor's office. I drove her car back though. She had cable in her trunk. One of her neighbors helped me jumping the cable to start my car. She was told her surgery procedure would take 5 hours so I came home because I had to drive my son to airport around noon time. Surprisingly, around 11:10am, my friend called from her doctor's office and said that she's done and ready to go home. My son assured me that we have enough time. I could pick her up and drive her home, but be back promptly though. When I got home around 12:30, it's just in time to take my son and his friend to the airport. Their flight to Kansas was 2:30pm. They made sure I had the bagel with me so that I could eat in the car while son was driving to the airport. I got a chance to talk to his friend's mom in the car. It was a nice chat. I got home, took a short nap getting ready for tonight's bible study. We learned about in order to be well rounded and fruitful, we must possess many qualities in increasing measure. That requires a long process of learning and doing.
2 Peter 1:5-9
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
