Visiting a friend this morning, I dropped off the cookies that daughter brought over last night for the Valentine family, then I went to church. After Cantonese worship service, I observed the Sunday class of younger group with a friend. After that there was the sharing of testimonies. Afterward, son and friend invited me for lunch. The place called the Eddy’s chicken and steak. The fries were Yucca fries: pretty tasty so as the chicken. As we were leaving the restaurant, daughter called me from the house because she brought over more Easter cookies for us. I got stuck in the traffic so we talked some more on the phone; daughter and friend had to leave to their afternoon BBQ.
Mother in law made some risen rice cup cakes, freshly soft and yummy! Later, older daughter came by to visit after work and we watched some pizza-making contest together. It’s amazing how those chefs handle their dough; toss and turn, high and low just like those people in acrobat show. Daughter ate dinner with us, rest a little and went home. Thank you all for the great day.
