We got a post card sent by younger son from France where he went for his two-week's leave. I translated it into Chinese for Mother-in-Law. We enjoy his card very much and we are glad that he had a good time in France.
Recently, his battalion commander has sent out many letters concerning the safety of his solders because the soldiers in their last month will tend to lose focus and put themselves in the dangerous situation more than ever. He also said these last few weeks is the crucial time and have the family to remind the soldiers to remain focus. I don't know if he has chance to read those letters, very sincere words. I just emailed him and gave him a gentle reminder. He has learned and grown so much from each of the tasks he did. He makes every effort to use his ability in work and play at the same time to inspire his soldiers. We salute him for that!
May God watch over him, protect him and bring him peace even sometime things are not always going quite the way he wants.
