Son's Wedding
I am very joyful and thankful because today is my older son’s big day. I am rejoicing and thankful because my son and daughter-in-law are blessed with many siblings and also many siblings in Christ, friends, relatives and neighbors. For that we all are blessed with a big celebration of matrimony, over 300 people gathering to celebrate and share the happy moments. The ceremony is beautiful full of singing and praising, and the reception hall is gorgeous with lights, balloons and decorated tables with handcrafted wrapped chopsticks. We rejoice together, everything on time and everything falling in place like my younger son says. Friends take the opportunity for more pictures before the food have arrived. Good food and good companies. Praise to God.
Through the preparation of this wedding, I saw my son and his fiancée facing many challenges, making compromises, learning each other’s strength and weakness, but loving God and trusting God as they are, they have grown deeper love, and deeper understanding of each other. Through the grace of God, they have met many good people helping and encouraging them along the way. Love never fails.
In the married life, they may face more challenges, and make more sacrifices, but they will be blessed continuously with much love, much faith, and much happiness! May their love and grace continuously extend to other as others’ extending to them! Love never fails.
