Sister-in-law and her husband visited this morning. We had a good time chatting. Mother-in-law was happy to see them.
When I brought tea to my neighbor friend, she was out for a walk and her visiting friend was there and testing me the numbers in Spanish. She said let her write them down for me and she wrote 1234...and had me say them in Spanish. My neighbor friend came back and laughed at her that I know how to write 1234....but want to learn in Spanish. They had a lot of fun teasing each other and me especially when I kept pronunciating d as t. I had a lot of fun too.
Husband and I spent a quiet evening watched a movie on TV, about this graduate full of hope and energy going to NY...how he worked in mailroom since he had no experience...yearned for opportunity so he made himself an executive position in the same building, and created a secretary position for himself...changing clothes in the office or in the elevaotor back and forth, changing names in different places, working hard, being kind to people, and having compassion in what he did. Anyway, it's a hilarious movie; we enjoyed it.
