Yummy gumbo and cornbread (Jalapeño hot or plain) and good companies! Thank you, son and daughter-in-law for inviting us!
We had fun shuffling snow this morning. After lunch we decided to stock up vegetables. We got a phone call from older son while we were shopping to see if we had any plan for the evening because they wanted to invite us to their house for dinner. Husband wanted to check with mother-in-law first. Mother-in-law declined because of the messy snow outside. Anyway, we decided to go without her since she had already had rice for lunch.
It was good. We met up with younger daughter, younger son and friend there. We had lots of fun chatting and tasting all kind of desserts.
