Husband and I rode a bus to visit his uncle who is now in the hospital in New York City. My brother met up with us in Chinatown in Manhattan and drove us to Flushing where the hospital is located. After some persuasion the security guards let us up to see the uncle. His mental awareness seemed alert even though he's drugged with all the medication. We met up with the aunt, many cousins, niece and nephews there afterward. We had some time chatting with each other, encouraging one another and sharing some spiritual wisdom.
Brother picked up some food on our way back from Flushing; we had dinner at my uncle's house because my sister-in-law and father were playing mahjong game there. As usual, we had a grant time. I also had a chance playing with my cousin's little girl; she is so cute and friendly. Afterward, brother and I took a walk to visit our third aunt and uncle who live about a mile down 30th Ave. nice walk and nice chat again.
All in all, the road trip was comfortable and productive, even able to study for physics to refresh myself so that I can do the final exam review with my younger son's active physics students on next Monday and Tuesday.
