This afternoon a friend who visited her daughter in South Carolina last couple weeks just came back and gave me a call. It's funny because this morning as I found the card which her daughter sent me and has the SC phone number, I said I will call her tonight. Here she was calling me. Friends are always thinking of each other. I am thankful for that. We chatted for over 30 minutes. Her grandson is growing and well. She wondered if I have time to go over her house. I told her I would go but tonight is our Tuesday bible study. I asked her to join me but her car is in the shop and she doesn't want to trouble me. I assured her there's no problem to pick her up but she declined.
Then another friend came to visit, and I handed the phone for her to say hello to the friend that I was talking to. They conversed briefly and hanged up. This friend brought us some pictures taken from her daughter's wedding and a nice handmade banner for display cards or alike, beautiful! Her last year project was making apron, which she showed me last year. One side was for Christmas and other side was for Halloween. She's very talented and motivated for the holiday spirit. We chatted for a long while. I am also thankful for this friendship and appreciate her visit.
Husband and I made to the bible study on time (I mean early enough) to help out. We only have seven people tonight but it was nice fellowship, studying and praying. Hope next week more people will come back from vacation. May God bless their journey.
