I did some more composition with my neighbor friend who tried to help me learn to speak Spanish. We had a nice session. She helped me to write about the life of my husband and I: how lucky that we met each other, got many blessings that we got to know each other more and extend our relationship to marriage, raise four wonderful kids and now retired. One of our kids got married and his beautiful wife is expecting a baby in March... Well, of course, they were written in Spanish.

Kids except older daughter joined us for dinner tonight. We all enjoy the German chocolate cake that our cross street neighbor baked for us yesterday. We had a nice time chatting. Husband gave them some Chinese names to choose from for junior and tried to explain to them the meanings. Mother-in-law was pleased even though she did not quite understand what we talking about. Older son and daughter-in-law stayed a little longer than the others and did some kareoke. I think we needed more practice. Then, I showed them the DVDs that a friend made for singing songs with sign language. It's a fun night. Thank you all for coming.

After everyone left, I packed for tomorrow trip to NY.

Today's quote:
"You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory."
Psalm 73:24
