I met a new friend in my morning bible study. I think she is from Bangkok but she speaks pretty well in mandarin. We learn about why we should study the bible and why it's harmonious and accurate from beginning to end even though it was written over a 1600-year period through many walks of life: farmers, fishermen, shepherds, prophets, judges, kings and doctor etc. We had a nice discussion.

After that, husband and I went to the center. It's the first day for line dance. The director wasted 15 minutes calling out names and giving out temporary nametags. Regardless, we had lots of fun dancing. Afterward, two friends and I practiced some signing. One other friend chatted with us briefly as if she's interested in signing and said someday she will join us but now she had to exercise with the equipment. We are looking forward for that someday. It would be nice.

Today's quotes:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2Timothy 3:16-17

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this ... is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10
