Meditating God's Word
In 1Timothy 4:12, 16, Paul instructs the young Timothy of being an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity; watching his life and doctrine closely; and persevering in them, because if he does, he will save both his and his hearers. As I meditate the Words, I realize and truly believe that a good example has more value than good advice. If we paid attention to our own spiritual life and to solid doctrine, we would be a godly example to the church family and to those who are listening.
